Full Life Hawaii

Booths 2, 3

Non-profit empowering people with developmental disabilities through arts-based day services and community inclusion. Participants create and sell handmade artwork at the marketplace through their partnership with Abled Hawai'i Artists (AHA).

Full Life was founded in 2000 by the Tyler family—Curt, Thelma, and their son Charlie—along with Deann Canuteson and Larry Casper. Inspired by Charlie's journey and the family's vision for self-determined living, they created an organization that now serves over 400 individuals with developmental disabilities island-wide. At Ali'i Gardens, Full Life participants develop artistic skills and sell their handcrafted creations, fostering independence, creativity, and meaningful community connections. Charlie Tyler's legacy has transformed personal struggle into communal triumph, championing the value of every individual.
